This feature requires Hub plugin.

For subscription:

1. Enable subscription in Solidres Config - Hub

2. Add subscription levels in the backend

3. Create a new menu with type "Solidres - Show front end subscription levels" to show subscription levels in the front end for the user to subscribe

And this is the result of the front-end:

4. Enable and add your PayPal email account for "Solidres - PayPal payment plugin for Hub subscription" in Joomla plugin manager

5. When a new subscription is created, you can manage it in menu Subscriptions

6. Setup automatic subscription expiration notification using CRON task

If you want Solidres to send automatic subscription expiration notification email to the subscribers, you'd need to setup CRON task for that.

You need to copy this file: /plugins/solidres/hub/cli/srsubscriptionnotify.php to the Joomla CLI root folder: /cli/srsubscriptionnotify.php

Then you can setup CRON task to run that file, please refer to your hosting provider for specific CRON instructions as it is different for each hosting provider.

For commission:

1. Enable commission in Solidres Config - Hub

2. Add commission rates on the backend

3. You can manage all generated commission in menu Commissions

1. Installation

First, you need to download iCal plugin from your Download page, then install and enable it, also make sure that you are using the latest version of User plugin as well.

2. Configuration

You need to generate API key for your user account, this API key will be used by iCal plugin. To generate API key, edit your user account in your Joomla User Manager and then click Save, Solidres will automatically generate your unique API key. If the API key is already generated, please skip this step.

To export your reservations as iCal format:

Edit your room type and you will see tab iCal. Make sure that your room type has at least 01 reservations, if your room type has no reservation, Solidres won't show the export URL. You can use this URL in your 3rd system/services like Google Calendar for example. Each room type has its own unique export URL.

To import external reservations to your Solidres as iCal format:

Configuring this plugin is very easy. First, you need to download and install this plugin (available to all subscribers). Then activate it in WordPress Plugin Manager and you will see a new Offline section while editing your asset - tab Payments, you need to enable Offline for your asset, done. There are some more fields to configure like choosing your accepted card brand.

Now when you make a new reservation in the front end, you will see new Offline payment method in reservation step 2.

So it will collect the guest's credit card, what will it do with them?

After the reservation is completed, the guest's credit card number will be split into 2 parts, the first part will be stored into Solidres database so that you can see it in your reservation edit screen and the second part will be emailed to the asset's email. This is for security reason.

Now you have your guest credit card info, you can use it for manual processing/verification.

Configuring this plugin is very easy. First, you need to download and install this plugin (available to all subscribers). There are two ways to update: manual and automatic

Manual

To update, you can check all the available currencies or just check the currency that you want to update the list then click "Update exchange rate" button. Solidres will automatically download the latest currency exchange rate from European Central Bank and update your selected currencies.

Automatic

If you prefer Solidres to automatically update your currency exchange rates in a fixed time interval, you can use the command line version of Solidres Currency plugin which is stored in your WP_SITE_ROOT/wp-content/plugins/solidres-currency/cli/cronCurrency.php and configure to execute it via cron job/scheduled task. Now in the backend, you will be able to use the button "Update exchange rates" in List Currencies menu of Solidres.

1. Make sure that plugin User v0.9.0+ is installed and enabled.

2. Go to Joomla Menu Manager, create a new menu with type "Show the frontend customer dashboard". Your guest will access their customer dashboard via this menu.

3. Go to Solidres Options page - Customer user group: in this field, you can choose a Joomla user group for your customer, the recommended group is "Registered". Then all your guests will be automatically assigned to this group when they register an account at your site during reservation.

4. Go to Solidres Options page - Permission and make sure that Joomla user group "Registered" has these permissions: Create, Edit, Edit State, Edit Own.

5. It's all set. Now if your guests register an account at your site during reservation, they will be able to manage their reservation, their profile and cancel a reservation from their own dashboard.

To configure this feature, you need to go through these steps:

• 1. Make sure that plugin User v0.1.0+ is installed and enabled.

• 2. Create Customer Dashboard page:

  • Find the Pages menu in the WordPress Dashboard Navigation menu. Click Add new.
  • Add the title of the page, the title of the page will also be the name of the menu display at the front end.
  • You need to add more the following code in the content area: [solidres_customer_dashboard].
  • Click Publish

  
  • Then, go to Systems menu → Settings → Pages tab, select “Customer Dashboard” page for the field “Customer Dashboard”.

  

• 3. Go to WordPress Dashboard → Appearance → Menus, create a new menu with page "Customer Dashboard" ( insert “Customer dashboard” page into your WordPress menu). Your guest will access their customer dashboard via this menu.

  

• 4. It's all set. Now if your guests register an account at your site during reservation, they will be able to manage their reservation, their profile and cancel a reservation from their own dashboard.

In this example we will use English (en-GB) as an example, you can change it to your language accordingly.

Option 1: Manually create overridden language files

• Frontend: language\overrides\en-GB.override.ini
• Backend: administrator\language\overrides\en-GB.override.ini

Option 2: Use Joomla's Language Overrides Tool (recommended)

Example: We are going to change "Arrival Date" title to "Check-in" of module check availability.

• 1. Go to Joomla admin → Extensions Manager → Language Manager

• 2. Click the Overrides tab.

• 3. Select Language and location of it (Frontend or Backend) and then click New.

• 4. Under the Search text, you want to change, type in the text you want to edit (as you see on the site). In our example, enter the following text “Arrival Date”. Ensure Value is selected, and then click Search.

• 5. In the search results, you will get the constant: SR_SEARCH_CHECKIN_DATE.

• 6. Click on SR_SEARCH_CHECKIN_DATE, as this is the value we want to change. Or Enter this constant in Language Constant * box.

• 7. Enter your value (in our example Check-in) in the Text box.

• 8. Save.

Refresh the page. We can see that the title is changed.

You can create as many overrides as you like.
